My tours basically include the historical districts of Istanbul such as Sultanahmet (Old City), Beyoglu (aka Taksim), Fener & Balat (Golden Horn), Ortakoy & Bebek (Bosphorus) and Kadikoy (Asian Side). I design the content of these tours to avoid getting stuck in long lines during tourist seasons.
During the tours, we meet at a predetermined point and visit the most popular historical monuments at the earliest. The rest of the time we focus on places outside the main tourist circle, where I can tell you what I know about the history and culture of the city.

You can learn a lot about Istanbul’s history, culture, daily life and local foods on these half-day tours that last between 3 and 4 hours. I developed my tours with the feedback I received over the years and made them convey maximum information in the shortest time.
Although these tours generally tell about the history of Istanbul, there are also thematic tours that focus on a certain period, such as the Byzantine history tour.
